My Music Video
Throughout my
music video, I will be using the hypodermic needle as an aspect of ‘audience’.
This means that I will be ‘injecting’ a message directly into the minds of the
viewers. I will be doing this to draw attention to the power that my music
video will have and to the importance that the video has. This links to the
‘cultivation theory’ as the hypodermic needle will encourage views on certain
topics. This will make the music video act as a source where audiences gain
knowledge from about the world and other people’s views. However, with these
theories, comes ‘copycat theory’ which my music video will not be encouraging,
it will be leaning more to the ‘do what makes you happy’ side.
